This is not just a trope or a slogan.
I have had countless contractors tell me over the years that some request of mine was not possible.
I would then reply that we had sent people to the moon and returned them safely to earth so don't try and tell me that this small project is not possible.
What they actually meant was they had not planned for what I was asking.
